"Desolation" is the seventh episode of Morphologis' POV in Season One of Group Survival. In this episode, Morph and the gang flee the base in a desperate attempt to find safety.

Two weeks following the events of the previous episode, Home Base and the Survival Rover are seen destroyed. Morphologis is walking in a field heading to the sunset as TIUS loses battery power. In severe pain, Morph falls unconscious and calls out for Potatoes.
Two weeks earlier, Morph, TIUS and Potatoes are searching for whatever caused Potatoes' previous accident a few days earlier when contact with Alpha Outpost is suddenly lost. Potatoes is getting along with the rest of the gang, with TIUS even remarking that Potatoes is growing on her. As they head up the mountain where Alpha Outpost is located, TIUS says that even her personal sensors cannot find anything. They discover Alpha Outpost destroyed and tipped over.
The memory log records a surge in the lithium ion battery before contact was lost. Morph and TIUS suspect sabotage as he decides to salvage anything left. In the middle of this, TIUS detects another signal coming from Home Base as Morph and Potatoes rush down the cliff to make it before something similar happens. As they reach the foot of the mountain, a loud bang is heard and TIUS informs Morph that they have lost contact with the base.
They find the base destroyed, with power lost and materials everywhere. Morph, upset and angry determines that they can't stay where they are and that they need to find the survivors. Following the scrapping of anything else they could recover, the gang heads out in the direction of Falnore's pod. Potatoes begins to lose battery and they decide to rest.
Morph and TIUS discuss the situation. TIUS believes that the saboteurs are few in number or there may be just one individual seeing as they haven't committed to a direct attack, instead focusing on gruella tactics. After he sets up a shelter, he askes Potatoes to guard him in the night as he tries to get some sleep.
