The Escape Pods on the USS Constitution are small, ugly curved boxes that can carry one human individual. The purpose of these small craft is to evacuate members of the ship if the star ship is heavily damaged.

W4stedspace's pod crash landed on Bob at quite a steep angle. It is only seen in Red Out and A New Beginning.
Morph's Pod[]

Morphologis's pod crashed at another steep angle. Morph later returns to this Pod to salvage it.
Falnore's Pod[]

Crewman Falnore's pod was in space for a few days after the Constitution crashed on Bob. When his pod eventually came down it was on a cliff, but the crewmen was already dead. When Morphologis found the pod the crewmen was still in it, dead. A new hope rises however. TIUS says that there were multiple other pods detected to the south, as well as the bridge section activating Emergency thrusters prior to crashing. With this info Morph heads back to his base to work on stuff. About 3 weeks later CaptainShack and w4sted returned to the pod, but the body of Falnore was missing.
