The Small Personnel Transport vehicle, affectionately known as "SPOT" among some of its operators (a reference not only two its designation but also its two high-power headlamps), is most often found in ground-side installations where it is employed as a rover for maintenance crews. The design is intended primarily for use in interior or paved areas, as its wheels and suspension are not rated for rugged terrain.
In addition to the operator's seat, the craft carries an additional two seats in the rear for passengers; this design has also been modified at some installations to carry an additional cargo container in lieu of the two remaining seats.
One of these transports was found and used by the survivors.
