"Underground Explorers" is the eleventh episode of CaptainShack's POV in Season Two of Group Survival. In this episode, Shack, Morph and W4sted continue to explore the mysterious underground rail network and attempt to bypass an obstruction in the tracks.
Plot[]
Following the discovery of John Roland's corpse, CaptainShack continues to explore the mysterious underground tunnels. He decides to modify a derelict drone to travel faster. Following a few minutes of disabling the AI, Shack powers up the drone and heads down the tunnel, eventually encountering Morphologis, who initially thinks he's a drone. Morph and Shack reconvene and hear W4stedspace talking over an intercom system, quoting a poem.
They make their way to W4sted, where they find him at a large Rail Cargo Transfer Facility that connects to the rest of the rail network. W4sted shows them around the facility and they eventually try to find a way to continue on the way out of the tunnels. Morph finds that the rail line is caved in, and they come to the conclusion that the only way out is a large hangar door.
After messing with a large crane and using buttons and levers to try to open the door, the crew is finally able to open the door. Inside, they find another door, which thankfully is opened with the click of a button. On the left and right, there are two large tunnels, with the one on the right being caved in. Shack and Morph find two small vehicles inside the tunnel, one of them being intact, and the crew head down the tunnel, never to be heard from again.
On the surface, R-5 and Potatoes are taking the Warden out for a joyride. As Potatoes ponders it's name with R-5, they fly off into the distance, past the lake.
Notes[]
Underground Explorers was the final episode released by CaptainShack for Group Survival. The scene where the crew leaves in the vehicle in the tunnel was the final scene ever released for the show.
At the time of release, some on the Discord server theorized that Potatoes and R-5 had detected a signal or were looking for the crew at the end.
