Space Engineers Group Survival Wikia

"We All Have Ghosts" is the ninth episode of Morphologis' POV in Season One of Group Survival. In this episode, Morph finds himself back on the Constitution and has to confront his past.

Plot[]

Morphologis finds himself on the USS Constitution orbiting the planet. He wanders around the deserted ship, wondering about why he's on the ship as he realizes that the ship crashed on the planet. He hears a noise but can't find where it is. He decides to head to the bridge, where he encounters CaptainShack and W4stedspace, who both blame him for the loss of the Constitution. He finally makes it to the bridge, where he finds Potatoes flying the ship. Following a brief conversation, TIUS warns Morph to check behind him, and he sees the black suit staring at him before waking up to the real Potatoes.

Morph instructs Potatoes to recover the chair from the rover to pick him up so he can make it back to the base. Potatoes looks at the rover and tries to get the chair. It remarks how the rover is "scrambled" and how the rover was "nice to Potatoes." Eventually, Potatoes seems to get in a fight with the rover, eventually winning and saying "Potatoes wins, car loses." As the Sun comes up, Potatoes brings back the chair and Morph straps himself. Following takeoff, Potatoes flies in an erratic fashion, much to Morph's chagrin.

Morph heads to the med bay and recharges his suit, reactivating TIUS. He also instructs Potatoes to head to the bridge crash site and search for survivors while relaying the message, focusing the search. With the materials to finish the thrusters, Morph and TIUS prep for a cautious liftoff in the Mobile Base. Following liftoff, Morph wonders where Potatoes is.

Potatoes is now in a more temperate area looking for the survivors and any other signs of life. Eventually it finds a piece of the Constitution, which it identifies as "Constitution Hull Section 24b." Potatoes then sees something in the distance, chasing it and calling it a "birdie."

Notes[]

The "Birdie" that Potatoes noticed at the end of the Episode is most likely the Warden's Redemption. The reasoning is that Potatoes would have been within the general 100km radius that Morph and TIUS calculated was the probable crash sites for survivors, combined with the fact that Potatoes literally encounters Shack and W4sted shortly after their second flight in the vehicle, and that Potatoes tends to label "Birdie" onto flying machines in general.

It is unknown where Potatoes is in comparison to Shack Lake in the final shot, as none of the geography is similar to what is seen around the Base with a view.
